UPDATE: After hundreds (!) of sign ups for the €4 iPad Dock we’ll start producing! Thank you all for your great interest in this project, we’re overwhelmed. To correct an error on our side, the €4 iPad Dock is actually, technically a Stand. A dock would imply it has a dock connector in there somewhere, which it obviously doesn’t. Sorry, our English is not that great 
An actual dock is in the planning though…
For now, the improved €4 iPad Stand is in production. We made the finish a bit smoother, made the front shorter and made the bog gaping hole a cute dimple to access the home button.

After three days of testing we can confirm the wood doesn’t scratch the iPad, the iPad doesn’t fall over when you tap the screen and you can use it horizontally while charging
