Met Firefox kun je sleutelwoorden toekennen aan onder andere zoekopdrachten.
Als ik naar mijn del.icio.us pagina ga, dan kan ik bij de zoekbalk aangeven waarin ik wil zoeken.
En aangezien ik een sleutelwoord wil toekennen aan geautomatiseerd zoeken in mijn éigen bookmarks, selecteer ik de optie “your bookmarks”.
Daarna klik ik met de rechtermuisknop in het lege zoekvenster.
Ik voeg een sleutelwoord toe, in mijn geval slechts de letter “d”.
Vanaf nu kan ik elke keer als ik iets wil zoeken in mijn lijst met bookmarks, volstaan met (ben een Mac-gebruiker, maar er is vast ook een shortcut voor Windowsliefhebbers) appeltje-l (om rechtstreeks in de adresbalk te kunnen typen), d gevolgd door het geen ik zoek.
