Timemanagement met social media

Ik ben op dit moment met Martijn Aslander in San Francisco op de GTD Summit. De komende twee dagen zullen we verslag doen van het event, zowel op deze blog als via Twitter. Recent kreeg ik de vraag wat Twitter nu eigenlijk toevoegt. Die vraag krijg ik vaker dus het wordt tijd om hem eens te gaan beantwoorden. Dat antwoord verschijnt zeer binnenkort, maar in de tussentijd wil ik jullie al wel wijzen op een interessant artikel van David Allen zelf over dit onderwerp. The Dave twittert ook en zijn mening over Twitter is interessant:

“If I want to have Twittered, then it’s productive!” I wasn’t trying to be facetious. The truth is, if you’re taking a vacation to relax and you don’t relax, then it’s an unproductive vacation.

In het artikel onderscheidt hij ook drie “soorten” productiviteit die gebruik van social media rechtvaardigen

Het artikel is zeker de moeite waard als je wat meer wilt nadenken over de mogelijkheden van social media en persoonlijke productiviteit.
